The institute of Psycho-trauma Pakistan (IPTP) was established in Oct 2005. It is a virtual institute, a network of Psychiatrists, general physicians, psychologist, nurses and social workers and allied health professionals. It came into being in view of actual and perceived violence in the society.
BASIC PREMISE OF THE INSTITUTE is that trauma is embedded in a society, which has not been able to protect its members from violence and/or catastrophe. Society must be prepared and be ready at all times to deal major or miner traumas that are faced.More
